**What is this?** This is the public upload folder for user-contributed content. If you're seeing files here, it means the system is online and functional. Ask the thread for login details. Don't ask me privately unless you're reporting a problem. Files remain here until reviewed. If they’re useful and relevant, they’ll be sorted into the main archive. If not, they’ll be ignored or removed. Don’t follow up about your upload unless it actually matters. ** I CAN'T LOGIN!** If this happens, /cyb/sec/pri/ has passed away despite the life support and the account has been disabled for security until the incantations from the Necronomicon bring us back again. --- **Uploading Guidelines** - Upload as either: - A compressed archive (`.zip`, `.rar`, `.tar.gz`, etc) - A properly named folder containing your files - **Do not dump loose files directly into this directory.** I will not organize them for you. I will just delete them. This folder should only contain the readme and other folders. - Name your uploads with some level of clarity. Avoid defaults like `new folder`, `archive.zip`, or anything requiring psychic powers to understand. --- **Allowed Content** - Content should be related to **cybersecurity**, **privacy**, or **cyberpunk**. This includes documents, tools, collections, books, and other media of interest to the /cyb/ crowd. - **Do not upload anything illegal under U.S. law.** If your files bring legal attention to this server, I’ll remove them and depending on how bad the abuse was, the contributor account could be removed forever. - I am not responsible for the contents of this folder. All uploads are unverified until reviewed. --- **Policy Notes** > **What file types are allowed?** Almost anything. No .exe, iso, or other unusual file types for a library unless you have a very good reason. > **Are encrypted files allowed?** Technically, yes. However, if I can’t verify the contents and it looks suspicious, I will delete it. Use common sense. > **Are there size limits or quotas?** There are none at this time. If you guys fill up the server, I'll be mildly annoyed that I have to spend time curating the library again. > **How should I structure my uploads?** Use subfolders if the content has multiple parts. Include a `readme.txt` if context is required. Don’t make a mess. --- **DISCLAIMER** User uploads are not curated in real time. If you encounter anything illegal, dangerous, or unrelated to this archive’s purpose, report it via the contact listed on the DMCA Policy page. You are responsible for what you upload and choose to view. --- **HOME** The home folder is the "/b/" folder. Do whatever you want in there, as long as you don't upload shit that'll get me party vanned. I'll delete the contents of that folder semi-regularly. Use it for test uploads/privilege testing/etc and not as a secondary file host please. If you need a file host, you have both catbox.moe and hitleris.gay (which is on the same server) among countless other clones.
