Collection of tarot, playing cards, runes, astrology books for reference and education. -Which tarot book should I read?: Honestly they all say pretty much the same thing. Pick one that appeals to you. The little white book that comes with a deck is always a good place to start. Some of these books are around specific decks such as Rider Waite or Thoth but can apply to any deck. If you want to understand the "modern" tarot then people like S.L. MacGregor Mathers (The Golden Dawn), Arthur Edward Waite (Rider Waite), Aleister Crowley (Thoth), and Paul Foster Case (B.O.T.A.) wouldn't be a bad start. Making up your own meanings can also be beneficial as your readings will become more personal and better fit your own personal metaphors. I have personally read The Qabalistic Tarot, 78 Degrees of Wisdom, and Tarot and Magic (and others) and I think any would be a fine place to start. -Why is the naming fucked up? It makes it hard to find things. I tried to organize and name the pdfs better but MEGA didn't like it when I gave "title by author". I may try again at some point but you'll just have to deal with it. Also celtic cross spreads depending on which source might have different meanings for the different positions. I would list what each position means if you share it asking for clarification as it can change the reading.
