Note: Grosset & Dunlop published them in hardbacks with dust jackets.  
Up thru #35, they had tan bindings with red and black line art.  For #36-38,
they used orange bindings.  Later, Whitman would reprint several (those marked
with * are known) in a variety of hardback and paperback editions in the 30s 
and 40s.  Garis wrote the books based on a three page outline supplied by 
Ed Statemeyer, head of the Statemeyer Syndicate.
In 1992, Applewood Books reprinted the first 3 books in fascimale hardback
editions.

Adams was involved in this new series.  Who wrote the series is unknown.  
This version was available until early 70s.
